Back by popular demand is our green "Sell A Square" PTA
sponsored Direct Donation Drive! Forms were sent home in last Thursday's Folder (it had a blue cover sheet
with attached green coupon sheet and playing card/envelope).
Remember this event is the PTA's largest fundraiser of the
year. Due to the increasing problem of
lack of funding from our state, we need to reach our goal of $20,000 this
year in order to keep providing important educational programs for our kids
here at Glenoaks.
Here is a little more
information on what to expect during our donation
drive:
- We
will accept cash or check payment for donations. Make all checks out to GLENOAKS PTA
- The
donation in 100% Tax Deductable. Our Federal Tax ID #95-6204548
- Turn
in date is TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4 to your teachers in order to be eligible for prizes.
- Education
Themed Day Prizes will be given out Tuesday, September 27 ($10 Coupon),
Wednesday, September 28 ($30 Coupon) and Thursday, September 29 ($50 Coupon) in
front of the auditorium before and after school. The coupons are in your
packet that you received in your folder and are green. Please DO NOT turn in
money with these coupons. These are "Good Faith" coupons that reward
your child for intending to reach certain levels.
- Prize
levels are made up of high quality, custom made Glenoaks Spirit items. (see
back of blue cover letter for details)
- If
we reach our goal of $20,000 raised, we will once again throw a slide party for the
ENTIRE school body during the school day
